buying used OEM competition rims

hey folks, did a search and couldn't find the answer to my question specifically.

I have an 08 e92 m3 with 220M style rims and I'm about to buy some competition style rims from a 2013 m3.

I already know that the 08-09 TPMS are different from other years, so does that mean I have to remove the TPMS from my existing rims and remove the TPMS from his competition rims? in other words, I have to pay for unmounting and mounting/balance for 8 wheels?
