quick Aesthetic question: anyone with Interlagos Blue and Red Interior?
I'm a sucker for red interior, and ready to put an order for a e90 M3 sedan soon, but I haven't seen many IB with Red Novillo interiors...mostly black or bamboo.

If you're asking for feedback, you're probably already unsure about the IB & FR color combination. Trust your instincts. If that color combination isn't instantly perfect for you, then it's probably never going to be. And I doubt that many other people will like it either. Personally, both are great colors, but, I can't see the two together. I have an IB E92 with Novillo (Black). IB with Bambo also looks great. I couldn't see IB & FR together at all. Ultimately, it's about what makes you happy. However, I wouldn't expect much praise with the IB & FR combination.

No but I often wish I did. I love stuff that people take way too seriously and subsequently makes them hate me.

I think that color combination is just super (often referred to as the "superman" combo) and that is why I ordered it (June ED). Looking at the color samples at the dealer, it actually matches well, but I can understand that it is a matter of personal taste and it will not be a common combination.
If you just want to configure your car for resale, well, don't buy one to begin with .

Let's see, purple-ish paint with an interior with an orangey hue.... No thanks. The red in the 1-series is a truer red and the blues used, LMB and MB, don't go all purpley out of sunlight and work FAR better than IB and FR.
I'd suggest heading to the dealer and spending some time with their sample paint and interior swatches before deciding. |

Who do you think would buy a second hand clown car, regardless of what KBB says the car is worth? It's a terrible combo imho and a dealbreaker off that bat for 99% of the people looking to buy a used M3.

And for the other 1% it is exactly what they want. No reason to expect the demand to be different among used car buyers than new car buyers. Will it be harder to sell? Maybe. Maybe not. |

classy w fox red IMO. The Ib on fr will get attention if that's what ur after.

Finally making the jump? Are you going for ED? But to answer your question, Fox Red is not at all like Coral Red - it's more orangey/brown, like brick or a very red terracotta. Interlagos has a significant amount of purple in it (less visible in full sun which is what you have down in FL but still). So I just am not sure how good this brick/purple combination would be... I've seen Jerez/Fox and liked it a lot.

I say go with that combo!
Forget about resale! It most certainly will look amazing in person! The attached link of another members E92 looks fantastic! I have seen many 360's with that color combo, and getting it on the M3 will just make it yours and unique! Cheers |

Hey, he'll only need one person to buy the car. That being said, the only way he'll ever sell it is if he trades it in and gets raped or carmax. It's a ridiculous color combo. Fox red isn't really even red! Like someone else said, it's freakin' orange lol.

I'd say it all comes down to your personal preference. If you think something is going to look good, go for it. If you're looking for some advice, I'd go for black.

It's so blue that they named it black. I'll agree that it has a blueish tint but it is still called black.
