Feeling too tired to do a detailed write up, and don't want to do it in my FS ad - but in short - the Z06 feels more race car like, nimble, love the V8 sound and absolutely in love with rowing through the gears.. I've had a DCT and a manual now.. I will never go back to a DCT. the GTR had blistering, mind blowing acceleration though - that cannot be beaten.

I am in the process of planning one that will become as *EPIC* as my M3 vs GTR thread

So it's easier to just keep them off instead of putting them on and then having to take them off every track day

I am honestly not trying to crap on your FS thread and the car looks great, but the thread title "Fully Setup Track Monster!!" is very confusing to me.
When I saw the words "track monster" I fully expected to see a blower, BBK, high-end suspension, cage and maybe even some aero. However, the "Extensive mod list" doesn't transform the e92 into a "track monster" of any sort. Specifically: Matte Black APEX EC-7 18x10 ET 25 - Square is nice but the fastest lap times I've seen posted are from guys running 295 square and I wouldn't want to put 295s on them. Nitto NT05 275/35/18 - "monster" performance?...nope KW Clubsport Coilovers - I see these as on par with a Dinan Stage 1 suspension (with Dinan having the clear edge on the street). Camber - "ideal for a mix of track and street"? That's not track monster. Brembo GT 380 Big Brake Kit with Brembo SS Lines - great. Pagid RS 29 Pads - not track monster pads. Akrapovic Evolution Titanium with Carbon Tips - great. Engine - no "monster" upgrades of any kind whatsoever. Back seat delete - a little weight savings maybe? Looks cool maybe? However, impractical for a car described as setup for a "mix of track and street." OMP WRC Race Seats - nice for track, but for street? Challenge Harness Bar and harness - potentially very dangerous for track use. I would expect some sort of cage in a monster. |

I must know why you didn't do this set-up to a 6mt m3?
