Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. I'm sure you've all seen a Jerez Black / Fox Red ZCP E90 before, but I appreciate the welcoming comments.

Hey Mark, did you drop off your car in Garching? When I checked in at The Welt they gave me a new Munich drop off location at the airport operated by a company login logout or something very similar. I'm paranoid now as I haven't heard any reference to using them before.
OK now that's better!! Great pics, looks like you had nice weather and happy to hear you guys had a great time.

And don't worry about the drop off...Harms changed their name to Log In Lot out a while back and they've either added the Airport location to Garching or dropped Garching completely in favour of the airport location for ease of customer transportation (the Garching location is in an industrial complex with no public transpo available).

So now...keep your Log In/Log Out "Harms" paperwork near the computer. They have a tracking system that'll give you everything you need to know about your new baby and the ship that it'll be assigned to for transport. Once it's scanned as arriving on the boat you'll need to go to this site to track it to Halifax:

http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp

Then it'll be turned over to CN for rail transport and for this (because their tracking system for non-customers is so useless), you might want to call on the best tracking guy in the world (Jamie aka BMRLVR) to help you out.

Have fun mister!!!!

Congratulations!!!! Your car looks great and you have a beautiful looking family. It sure is great that they were able to share the ED experience with you!!!

The ZCP wheels on the Jerez E90 looks really good!!!

As Mark said above, I will be glad to track you car on the train for you once it is loaded on a train. One of the benefits of my work doing business with CN is that I am able to use my account to track BMW's for my friends on the forum. Once the car gets in Halifax, PM me your VIN number and I will be able to update you on your cars progress on the train from Halifax to Ottawa.

I slept better after reading this. I'll try tracking my car today, see if it has left Munich for the port yet.

Ah this is killing me.
I dropped the car off 10 days and a handful of hours ago and I still have two days to wait until the boat pulls out of port in Europe.

How is this wait possible!!!!!!!!

I did an awesome job on the 95 day wait from order until ED.
Of course I had a fixed end date (eventually) for that.

I think this part is annoying with the vague 6-8 week time frame. I don't have another winter drivable car, so the less time I can spend in this Hyundai rental the better. :P

The Hyundai has a bulge in the tire, the rental place just told me they are going to switch me to a Cobalt.

This is clearly a test. I'm not sure what I get if I pass, but someone is definitely trying my patience.

I'll cross my fingers for the street sweepers to come out then see if I can figure out how to install the child seat with the Chargers lap belts. :P

Is a Cobalt a step up?They could not give you a Cruze(car of the year in India or so the commercial says)?

I'm pretty sure it's a step down, if not sideways. A Cruze would have been "nice" comparatively.

I still have the Blue balls.

Three weeks now, but the cargo ship should dock in Halifax on Monday.
My dealer assures me the plate install and map update will be quick.

Almost time to call on Jamie to see which train she goes on.

I've been over on the E90 forum where there are a few local members. As our corner of Bimmerpost here has been fairly quiet of late.

I would have been if I thought I could have made it happen. That would have been perfect. Pick up in Halifax, drive it to my dealer for the break in period service.

Then BAM 8,000 rpm by Thursday.

Let me know if you want me to take a run over to Autoport and check her out for you. I'm only 20 minutes away.
