Here is more picture. Really u do not even need to turn on the lights. It looks 10 years younger and a lot aggressive than any regular m4 out there. M4 owner was staring like seeing an ufo today since it is changing the color smooth and randomly

I found a way to test the adaptive functions without using the knobs. I already broke one of them on the passenger side when I was messing with the adjustment. So I decided to test the motor and the module using the NFRM ECU options.

I tested them and they are working fine with 3 washers. Here is the video :

I never driven the car while raining. And I thought today will not rain and strt driving without checking the weather app So it happened. And drove back to home and washed the car before park to the garage and realized that driver side headlight is foggy. and I used the hair dryer to clear it. Popped the hood and check the sealing. Realized at the edge close to the turn signal there is a plastic clip that unclipped and opened a little gap between clear cover and assembly so i re-done that and add some more butyl tape and also check the driver side and realized there is some gaps between. i add more stuff. And that gap was filled with little water as well. Luckly driver side did not get any water drop.

So whomever closes the cover after the DIY is done just be careful. the most important part is the top corner close to the turn signal and make sure that clip is really tight and sealed well. Also the water drain route which comes from the side of the fender flare pass thro from this corner. So this is the weakest point of this headlight!

Update : I got adaptive side way (right left) warning on the dash and idrive once. and it did not repeat after stopping at one place parked about an hour and work normal on the way home. But it made me just remove the 2 washers and leave only one on each lens holder leg.

I did the test while the car on the jack. It works without an issue and turns right side. I did not hook to ISTA yet but I could not test the left side since it does not turn when the car is parked. Turns only in motion.

But I feel a lot comfortable now and don't wanna damage any components due to upgrades. And also added the corner turn light bulbs since I saw an error. Now the lenses lighting.

I was successfully clear the ZKW-R lenses with one washer as well and the bluish line is just amazing esp when I am riding right behind a white cars and the traffic signs just shines with blue



Note : One of the m4 owner stopped me and ask me what the heck this headlight about, I said now everyone is looking at me more than yours that is all about That's the joking part but I did not see anyone who is not looking at the car and not smiling or doing thumps up yet while the rings are changing the colors and it is including the jeep! I took the Jeep to Nascar Miami Speedway. And I do have hot pass parking so I can park the jeep right next to Richard Petty so all the cops and drivers all around. So my wife was little bit worrying to show the rings changing the colors while driving around. But luckly all the cops even the troopers put the thumps up

I just bought my e92 I really want to DIY my lights like you did.

Also, did you use the oven or a heat gun to separate the clear lens.
