E92 M3 rear bash bar

im getting a rear bash bar for my e92 m3 and I was wondering if anyone knows about the risks of running no rear bumper(rain, drifting, daily driving, etc.) Also whats the purpose of the side vents and sensor in the back?

they are valves basically, they relieve the interior of air pressure like when you close the doors or at speed.

It looks good from a functional point of view but why don't you want the bumper?
