Happened to me the other day. A piece of tumbleweed was stuck under the car. Sounded just like a tin can.

Happens to me all the time...some of the rocks are persistent little buggers but will get kicked out eventually and there is no harm done to any components in the meantime.

had the same problem on my car! i thought my exhaust was loose so i put her on the lift nothing was loose, backing out off the lift hear the sound again take my wheel off look in the dust cover and found NOTHING! it did go away after a nice ride around town then about 3 weeks ago i heard it again. i wasn't going to take my wheel off again to find nothing so i went down the road and went back home pulled in my spot and no sound. A few guys said the Ebrake.... i only got 6,000 on the car to me with noise is a mystery.

Revising as I have this tin can sound now in reverse and forward at extremely slow speed when parking... litterally is from my drivers rear wheel well. I’m only revising because there has been multiple answers in this thread ... guys saying stop saying it’s a pebble yet others saying it is. Pebble makes sense to me as I have huge road construction on my street and it’s all gravel.. but I can’t get into a mechanic for at least 3 days as it’s a long weekend in Canada. Hoping it’s a pebble and won’t hurt anything. It doesn’t make noise at speed ?

COW BELLS-
I love this thread. It was the first problem I encountered as a new owner and the first problem solved by a Forum suggestion:
Doughnuts in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions.
