Heat shield rattle fix

Hi,

I've got a 2008 M3 that has had a bad rattle/noise coming from the front end for a few months. Finally brought it to a BMW specialist and it was determined that the drivers side header heat shield rivet had failed, causing the shield to flutter/rattle. Has anyone addressed this in the past on their car and how did you go about fixing the issue. Did you have to pull the headers or lift the engine to access the part?

Thanks for any input!
