Nitto NT01 - safe to drive on street to track?

Did you haul your wheels to the track and swap there? That's ideal if possible methinks.

Yes I did. This thread is about driving to the track on them which I did a couple times and thought it was a dumb plan.

What's the coldest anyone has run these tires?

I have a track day coming up next month ... average high/low ambient temps at Thunderhill mid December are 58F / 36F.

The only info I could find for NT01s and temp is the manufacturer's warning that they could crack when subjected to temps < 15F.

down side is if you pick up a nail that tire is done...
