E92 M3 Metallic Noise, Help

Literally just got home from work and heard this consistent clunk sound for first time, both in reverse and going forward slowly.. Anyone experience something similar or can point me right direction? Recorded it below, thanks guys.

brake heat shield hitting something. possibly a pebble stuck between rotor and shield

Drive it forward and backwards with the ebrake on, it should fix it.

Could be the infamous cowbell noise. Look it up on YouTube.
