Rod Bearings Atlanta

It looks like I am going to be lucky enough to be getting back into the game with a 2010 e90. Has had the TA done but want to get the bearings done.

What is the go to shop in Atlanta these days and what should I expect to pay?

I had mine done by Markert in Lawrenceville. Die hard Bimmer guys that know their stuff. I think some guys say they are overpriced, but myself and many others have had great experiences with them.

Granted, this was probably three years ago, and I think they are now True Automotive, but it's the same guys.

Yeah I know Dave and there is one of his True locations right down the road from me. I will definitely get a quote from them but last time I spoke with him he said they were more towards the general maintenance of all cars vs BMW performance these days.

Price wise a few hundred bucks won't matter. I want a quality job done as I plan on keeping this E90 for a while.

I know a lot have used Technica as well. Not sure what their current status is.

As I've understood it, the "other" locations are aimed more towards the general items. Lawrenceville is still a heavy hitter for BMW gurus. From their website, you can see from the items they hit on that it's aimed towards, well, us. Dave and the guys are a good bunch. I think what I paid (I did motor mounts, power steering reservoir, and a handful of other items while they were in there, so not apples to apples) was maybe $150 more than the other guys in town.

David, Bimmers Service can do them for you. All of them were techs at United BMW of Roswell. Plus I get Kyle to do yours. He will be doing mine when it turns 50k miles on it. Let me know.
