Exclamation **Original Recaro Sportster CS Black Leather + Alcantara Upholstery Covers

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Selling a pair of complete upper and lower upholstery covers (4 pieces, for two seats). These are the originals off my Recaro Sportster CS. The color scheme is black leather with black Alcantara center inserts.

Absolutely flawless, these were never sat on and removed for custom upholstery. All original tension clips and attachments are in tact.

These are a 100% straight swap onto any Sportster CS seats, no additional parts needs.

$650 shipped in the US 48/Canada. Picture only shows one seat's components, but this listing is for both seats.

Hey any photos of your reupholstered seats? I just bought a pair and want to redo mine in cinnamon, curious of the quality and pricing since you're in Canada too / maybe the person who made yours can make mine and ship them to me haha. Appreciate the insight

Yup, just this one for now. I've yet to finish the second seat, hopefully I can get to it this weekend. It fits like a glove, 100% perfect.

Covers are so tempting. Any idea how good of a match the black alcantara is to what's used on the M performance steering wheels?

Not sure to be honest, I can't imagine it being much different if at all. It's more of a dark charcoal which is pretty close to the BMW Alcantara.

Let me know if you're interested, I'd like to move these sooner than later

So Recaro actually use a brand of synthetic suede called Dinamica I don't believe there's really any difference between that and alcantara. I believe all alcantara is manufactured in Italy where dinamica is manufactured in several factories worldwide including Italy. It more depends on the dye for the match but in certain lights and how the fabric sits I'm sure it would match close enough. One could always order a swatch of black dinamica and match it to the bmw stuff. It's harder to get state side, I have recently ordered red dinamica from England for a recaro match.

I actually think dinamica is more durable and better suited for seats? Maybe? More I think about it, in my car, it feels different slightly.

I have these exact seats (Recaro CS) with Alcantara inserts and they match my M performance steering wheel's Alcantara perfectly.

Very tempting! I have SS Race mufflers already so it would be a full matching setup... I'll keep you in mind if these don't sell anytime soon

It's tempting. I need to find a pair to test fit, first.

Free bumps in the meantime.
