Exclamation 2011 E92 M3 start issues

Hey guys, I have a E92 M3 that won't start.

2011
M3
57K Miles
DCT
Remus exhaust
Turnermotorsport stage 2 tune
Test pipes
AFE intake

So I drove the car the other day with no issues and then had it sit for a few days in my garage. The car runs fine and smooth. Then today I was going to go for a drive I used my key to unlock the car and got inside. All lights were on, even the drivers seat readjusted itself. The radio was working fine. When I pushed the start button I get clicks and errors on the screen. The lights do not dim when I engage the switch. I get errors; Transmission malfunction, P not engaged, something about drivers assistance. I tried a few more times trying to turn it, a click or few, no luck and gave up. It ended up to a point where when I pushed to start button, theres no clicks anymore.

I am thinking it's the starter from all the other posts with similar issues, but also maybe the battery cause I'm sure it hasn't been changed at all.(I'm not the original owner) But right now I dont think it's the battery....I do remember that when the car was working before a few days ago and everytime I pushed the start button there seemed to be a delay of turnover turning on, but at the time I didn't think much about it. It just turned on. Any input would be really helpful.

Here's the video. Maybe you guys can determine the sounds and issue.

Bring the battery somewhere to get tested. They can tell you if it passes or fails.

If removing the battery from the car for a good time, does the car do anything like reset or anything I should know because I'm not familiar with all the electronics within this car?

Take a voltmeter and check the voltage of the battery and report back.

I'm limited on tools, but i had the battery swapped with another and the battery wasn't the issue. Everything lights up, but still no start. I ordered a starter so I'm going to wait on that now....

Im not an expert but I am familiar with basic car stuff so I'm not sure what else could be the culprit....

You should get yourself a scanner. If you have a laptop, buy an K+DCAN OBDII Cable, you can get dealership software online if you search for the right stuff.

I'm not sure if these cars have such issues but it could be battery grounding. I believe we have a recent recall for this?
