F80 rear subframe onto E92
anyone know if the M F8X subframe is compatible with e82/E9X ?
Looking at rear subframe upgrades for my E82 track car, E9X M will bolt right in, not sure if F8X will also bolt in. I realize the LSD is servo activated and that would have to be swapped with a regular clutch, but the arm improvements may be worth it. F8X complete dropouts are quite a bit cheaper than E9X complete subframes If not I plan on swapping in a E9X M rear subframe

I don't know, however, working on both cars, their rear subframes seem pretty similar. There isn't a generational shift in the rear suspension and subframe between both gens

The mounting points don't look close to being the same.

820mm on m3 e92 vs 860mm on F8X In the video it says that it is necessary to cut the 4 attachment points of the subframe because none of them fit, it seems strange to me... But the best thing about the video are this: |
