You thought the Santorini car would hammer for 52,000, 6,000 more than it did.

What do you think this car will sell for?
Yep I'm over optimistic at times. Santorini was 48300 with BAT fees included so $3700 less than 52k. Being a Canadian car probably hurt a small amount given import fees and transport.
That right there is close to another $3k

My guess on this car is $55k without fees - just a guess. Maybe higher if a biding war ensues.
Have to agree the DCT trims the value by $3 to $5k.
I offered him $60k when this was first posted up. he said he wanted MSRP :
Strong money and strong offer for just about any E9xM at this point. Interesting that this car is more rare than an LRP and I'd probably want this car over a LRP if I was spending up for a rare / dream E9x.
well, apparently he gets 60k offers all day. and even offers in the 70s. true? who knows

I never understood the premium for LRP. It's an orange paint job and an alcantera steering wheel. As was already stated, some of these individual colors are not only more appealing (opinion) but also much more rare (fact) than the LRP edition.

The MPe and the plaque are part of the package.

Can't forget the plaque.

Haha, you're right. How could I forget. Only issue is the MPE can be added for $2k (and you still get to keep or sell the stock exhaust) so that plaque must be worth around $18k.

The limerock orange are more of an mid life crisis guy target.
The Laguna seca blue is a m fan boy color, totally different audience.

Y'know that gives me an idea... I could start selling little '1 of 200' plaques, maybe get people to fork over big cash like they used to do to get Dinan badges in the E36 days. Or maybe start turning out LRP "kits": Fire Orange wrap, MPe tips, steering wheel cover, and a plaque.

Only my plaques would say "None of 200".

Got to see this car in-person today. Damn the quality of the interior is so mint. It's like the leather is fresh from the factory.

Looks like a leatherique treatment and a new steering wheel are in my car's future.

Hope you find this a good home, man!

Is it at a consignment dealer now or did the OP have you over for a beer?

Agree - Hope it finds a good home.

The fact you've poured on 67 miles since posting this car for sale way back on 12/23 could really hurt your sale now

But really, why don't you drive this car and enjoy it? Just no time or something?

I drive this one because it's less stressful and more fun. The LSB is all about preservation (of new-car-ness) for me. I've maintained approximately the same average mileage as the previous owner. You open the door and you're wafted by the smell of 2013.

As someone who's always been a proponent of driving cars, no matter how special or valuable, this was strange but also exciting in a new way. I never got to experience new car ownership, let alone an M3. When I first sat in this car, I was instantly taken back to those fantasizing dealership visits where I'd ogle these cars endlessly. I guess it's a fun moment to capture and try holding on to.

I know exactly what you mean. My car, despite being a 2011 with 20k miles, still has strong remnants of the new smell inside every time I open the door. I only drive it one day a week, two max, but due to my work schedule and travel sometimes a couple weeks go by before I can get into it. When I do sit in the car I get a chill thinking of what it would have been like to buy the car new, and that mine still smells new enough for me to enjoy that feeling. (One of these days I'm going to contact the previous owner and find out just what he did to make that happen.) I can't imagine what your car must be like, you lucky bastard.

FYI, Shift has it listed on all the sites as a manual trans. Not sure if you care or maybe they do that intentionally to generate more interest. If it sells anywhere near their asking price this will set a new record for a used e92. Highest other one I'm aware of is the frozen blue that sold for $65k on BaT. This is such a gorgeous car though. If you're into DCT, I can't imagine a nice example.

Question

Very nice indeed! When I bought my 2012 BMW ///M3 November of 2012 it had just a tad over 10,000 miles on it...I paid a $61K...a lot for a 'used' car.

But I got everything I wanted: ZCP goodness, Mineral White Metallic, Fox Red...I still am amazed I still have this car...she's been taking a long snooze on the trickle charger since December cause weather in the Pacific Northwest is crap in winter...once roads have been thoroughly cleaned up and there have been multiple passes with the street sweepers she'll be doing what she does best..put and keep giant grins on my face...

If I had stupid extra money, dude I'd totally buy this...I've searched and can't find the price you're asking though...just in case - how much are you asking bud?

am i the only one that doesn't get this? i mean its a beautiful car but when it approaches 6 figures there are quite a few other options that you can consider. for starters you can order a brand new M4 and check all the boxes and get it fresh from the factory for less than that. if you want to go used you can get R8s, 911s, etc in that price range. i agree it's beautiful but i cant imagine it's worth more than the mid $60k. but again i've been wrong before

This thread is epic! We are all pulling for you to get top dollar. After watching the first half of this movie we gotta see the ending.

Hold ur price, there is no other car in this color or condition. It only takes one dude that really loves the car to get it sold.
