► Alpine White E92 M3 with APEX EC-7R Forged Wheels
E92 M3 + APEX FORGED Our customer Ken (@kppy86) stopped by to check out our new forged wheels. He currently runs a few sets of our flow formed wheels, the SM-10 for street and EC-7 for track in the Bimmer Challenge racing series. We mounted up a wide square setup of 18×10.5″ et22 EC-7R forged wheels featuring our new Polished finish. The EC-7R wheel easily cleared the large Rotora 380mm front big brake kit and features I-beam spokes to reduce weight while maintaining strength. APEX Wheel & Tire Setup

I don't know about this particular finish, but on my E36 M3 with LTW (Style 24) polished wheels, I have to be careful when I wash them. You can scratch them from rubbing on the brake dust.

Then I guess for a track wheel like this, either black or brush finish is best. Easier to maintain.

The polished finish is protected by a clear coat, so you won't have to worry about scratching the actual wheel surface. As mentioned, I'd recommend taking a little extra care not to wipe off large debris or brake dust without rinsing off the wheels first. --Dylan

if you get the polish ones, or in this case any wheel color.. just ceramic coat them so you don't have brake dust issues. just spray it off easily.
