"Other Brand" Front lip and rear diffuser replica

I bought a replica vorsteiner diffuser and front lip from jl motoring. Im really impressed with the quality. Me and my friend compared, He has a real vorsteiner lip and diffuser, and he said he's honestly pissed i got these for 1/4th of the price lol. I did a test fit and everything fits and lines up perfect. I cant wait to fully install them. I know the whole thing going on but i honestly cant see paying $1600+ for a lip thats just going to eventually get messed up. Plus I hate vorsteiner with a passion lately. They spend more time and money going after people who have replicas etc. Then they do helping customers that have problems with their own products. My friend is having problems with their actual lip and it seems like once they sell you their product they don't give a rats ass anymore.

FIT on the lip is near perfect! Outstanding quality for a rep. Now lets see how long it holds up.

UPDATED WITH INSTALLED PICS 1/20/09

REAR DIFFUSER

so here is some pre installed pics

front lip

I bet they'll stay out of it and just petition to have this thread deleted. The disparity in price is truly shocking if the products are indeed comparable, which the pics seem to support.

I'd buy a replica lip/diffuser.

How r u supposed to drill the wholes? It looks like the openings from the lip are closed on the other side. Do u get what I mean?

Looks fucking great by the way. I really wanna c this installed to c how the fitment is. Imagine the replicas fit better then the authentic. Man that would suck lol.

The holes on the bottom half of the lip allow you to drill the holes on the top half and get the bolt through. Ya know what i mean? or else you would have to use a uni bit nd drill out a big enough hole for the whole bolt head etc. to fit through. And then drill a smaller hole for the shaft of the bolt to fit through. So the way they did it is great

Got u on the other post.

As far as the double sided tape goes, have u seen my thread of the painted VRS LIP? well is you have u will c that there is a gap on the left side. VRS contacted me today and told me that there is no need for double sided tape and that the screws will hold it just fine, thats how they test them and install them. They said without the tape it should be flush. I can understand the tape causing a little gap being that there is no real groove, it just goes right on the lip causing a little space, but at the same time im skeptical of not using the tape. Either way, this is what they suggested and so im forwading this to u.

I guess u can try it with the tape on and if its not good, u can just take it off.

Hmmm interesting. I guess ill try it without first. My friend used some silicone but im a little scared to use that.... but i guess it will stick well and once the lip is removed the silicone should come off the paint rather easily
