Time to buy every 6 speed gas guzzler in the world, store it in a warehouse, then 2032 comes, start selling, who is in? just me?

Im about 5 hours south of you in Santa Barbara, but if we meet somewhere in the desert halfway, I'm sure we could find a nice farm to do this together

But this eventually leads to less gasoline vehicles which means eventually less gasoline stations because less customers with gasoline cars.

Where would we buy fuel for our gas cars?

I'd want to keep my V8M3 for as long as I can... but me thinks 20 years from now I won't be able to buy fuel for it very easily.

That's what Amazon Prime is for!
Even if it means no long trips, I'd be cool with ripping up and down the street and annoying the neighborhood!

Why all the fuss? A) this isn't actual news, other countries have announced a similar ban B) none of the bans are occurring in the US C) Rules/laws are always being updated to various degrees so countries making decisions now about what the world will be like in 15+ yrs are wishful thinking at best.

The sky is not falling. Electrics have a long way to go before wide-spread adoption make sense, particularly in the US. If the US was the size of a smaller European country though, sure, it would seem a reasonable possibility that gas would be banned in a 3-4 automotive generations.

I will say this. I'm an able bodied person at the moment who enjoys sporty cars that are on the louder side and which are equipped with a manual transmission. At some point, this will no longer be the case. I will no longer be in a position to physically enjoy cars in the same way. I do really hope that when this happens, we will live in a world where personal transportation has evolved to the point where many of the physical elements of driving are optional.
