So Just to Update Post Dyno.
Prior Heading to the Dyno , I changed out : Low Pressure Fuel Sensor Brand New Fuel Pump I changed them out since they were aged anyway. Car felt slightly refreshed but no major differences to be honest. I put the car on a Mainline Dyno Machine. I did not have a baseline for my own car, but for comparison purposes, the same dyno did have records of an E92 M3 DCT, Full Exhaust + Tuned , Clocking in 303WHP. What I got were low numbers , not that i get bothered by the numbers from this dyno. But some rough comparisons likely show I probably am still 30-40whp shy of advertised numbers i guess. My Car's Set-Up 2010 E93 M3 DCT | Harrop SC Kit | BMS Drop In Filter | Dyno Results: 392.8WHP & 39.1KgM Wheel Torque. My pulls were done on 4th Gear. Ambient Temperature : 33 Deg Celsius / 91 Deg Fahrenheit Humidity : 62% AFR : Starts off around slightly below 12:1 , dipping to near 11:1 before coming back up , after around 5600 RPM Now I'm just not sure if I want to go get fresh O2 sensors just for ease of mind. Aside from that I'd stick to having a fully stock exhaust system and pray that the Primary Cats don't melt. |

I know I've left power on the table with the stock exhaust.
However I am currently comparing it to Harrop's own advertised dyno charts which they did with the stock exhaust as well. I just wanted to make sure everything is functioning well before I do anything further. |

You are not going to get full power at 91f with a blower.

From a %-gain standpoint, you are not out of the ordinary.
Your M3 made 30% more power compared to the full-bolt-on M3 that also has reference numbers on that same 'Mainline Dyno'. (393hp vs 303hp) My M3 made 39% more power compared to my 100% stock M3, and I still have all factory cats and just a Megan rear section. (462hp vs 333hp) If you make the assumption that full-bolt-on + tune is worth 9% over stock, then your power increase is in-line from others. If you take that 9% and subtract it from the 303, a stock M3 on that Mainline Dyno probably nets 277hp. I do not think you have any operating or power problems, you are just using a brand of dyno that reads significantly lower than the standard Dynojet. If you want numbers for numbers sake, go find a Dynojet.

Dynojet is more commonly used so it offers numbers to use to get a better idea of how your car is doing compared to others. There are many more dynos to compare to.
If you are happy with a sample of one and some assumptions and extrapolations, then the result you have is all you need. Just change the assumptions and extrapolations until you are happy. Many tuners prefer load based dynos for tuning purposes. It is harder to compare results due to the variables in how it was set up so you are limited to other results on the same dyno. If it is an uncommon dyno, there might not be many results available for your make and model car. If such a dyno is your only option, get a baseline before the mods so you can compare to the after dyno. |

The whine is very noticeable. At low engine speed it is louder than the engine. As you step on it you can hear the engine over the charger. I think you did a simple mod to cover the extra air vent in the hood on the passenger side to reduce the noise right? Even with that the whine is very distinct. |

For my taste, I prefer the factory airbox to keep the noise level more manageable for a man of my age ;-). Im not 20 anymore so it did eventually get to be too much with the AFE.

Thank you again to those who gave condolences and have been patiently waiting.
Need to reply to some previous posts.. on phone at the airstrip in Colorado at the moment with two BPM Tuned Supercharged M3s. Stage II upgrade in progress on the airstrip. The ESS VT2 car we tuned is running nearly 10PSI at altitude and is making nearly 650whp. He has been taking first in the German class every year. Time to bump the Harrop up a bit Also had the opportunity to retune a few S/C M3s here. One picked up 10mph in the half mile with some fixes Here's an in car video of taking down a modded Hellcat Stay tuned!

I agree. 560 rwhp SAE Dynojet is great for 91 octane, and 400 lbs rwtq is even better. That is the same peak torque you might get with a centrifugal that makes 600 rwhp, but the torque (and horsepower) with the positive displacement is coming at so much lower rpm than with a centrifugal.
