What the hell.. stop the insanity. How about a special edition paint that doesn't cost thousands of dollars to maintain. What about some performance parts? Geez put a CF airbox in there at least!

Did BMW hire unemployed Pontiac folks ? Even those would say 'yikes!' to the parking brake lever .
And $81K and can't even add other options, like extended leather, enhanced audio, manual tranny, etc? Geez. And that paint looks like freaking primer. Nice try BMW . |

Frozen colors dont cost thousands of dollars to maintain...Easier than regular glossy finish. Trust me!

I was referring to the fact that scratches basically require a full repaint of a panel. Spoke to my dealer about this. One guy brought a frozen gray M3 in with a deep scratch in the rear quarter panel. $4000 later...

Deep scratches are different story..prolly on most cars. When it comes to microscratches or swirl marks they do not exist on frozen colors.

They are making 40. They will sell 40. It's nothing special to most of us but to 40 BMW M3 collectors the car will put a little extra grin when they are driving.

I thought the whole interior was CF, clearly not the middle console. GTS could have saved 0.01lb right there |

Whats with BMW and their new fascination with these frozen paint colours? If I'm going to spend like 5k on an individual colour is going to be java green, not one of these frozen colours.
