Official GTA M3Post Meet Thread - Sunday September 2, 6 PM @ Bayview Village.

Was planning to make it out yesterday, but started the swap between my stock muffler and OE modded muffler. Hit a roadblock when the bolts on the clamp to the X-Pipe snapped instead of loosening so had to skip out.

That said the M3 is my daily so it'll be out all winter if anybody else is down for another meet.

Sorry I had to miss the last meet.

I take my m3 out in the winter sometimes so a winter meet isnt out of the question

Me too. The winter is pretty mild, if it’s bad snow; I just take the SUV.

Hey guys, I'm new to the BMW forums! Is there a specific BMW facebook group that everyone in the GTA is a part of?

Also, is a BMW True North membership a must have? Seems like a lot of people have it and the benefits, as far as I can see on the website, seem pretty good. What other memberships/groups should I consider joining?

I personally avoid bmwtn, but there's an m3post whatsapp group with members from all over the world. Theres a link in the general section

I plan on joining trillium which is the ontario bmw club that focuses on hpde and tracking which is something I would like to get into.

Thanks, another forum member told me to join Trillium as well so I'll be looking into it. I guess if I'm joining, I have to join after Dec 10 lol

May I ask why you avoid True North though?

lol that's why we have our own meets at bayview village.

Let's hope they don't go batshit crazy with the salt for no reason, as I've seen them do. So many times the temperatures are above freezing with zero precipitation ahead and yet they blast the salt again. Gotta use that budget or lose it, I suppose. Ridiculous.
