Rear bumper tar and rubber stains
Hey guys, is it just me or do you guys also get a lot (I mean A LOT) of tar and rubber stains all over your rear bumper, even up to the bootlid after a track day?
My entire bumper gets covered in black spots and it takes a long time to clean. It could possibly be worse since I'm running very dusty brake pads and semi slicks… It also seems to build up around that grill insert in the rear bumper, maybe a solid insert would help me. Anyone know where to find one? I'll send a photo of how bad it gets soon!

I'll second the recommendation from roastbeef
wyatth scored me some at Christmas, and I just tried it out. Works great on the actual rubber marks. Didn't try it on the exhaust soot though.

Tried a few iron dissolver wheel cleaners and tar removers on them but no budge. It's literally part of the road on my wheel, I need something super strong.

I haven't used it for that, but it's safe to try. You always want to use the least harshest chemical to get the job done.

100% agree with Roastbeef. I'm afraid of using harsh chemicals on the finish. I've only used the Track Spray for the first time last Friday after 5 sessions at Sears Point the prior Sunday, and it worked as advertised on the rubber marks. It didn't even seem to affect the paste wax layer? One part of the ritual I have settled on for getting the car ready for a track day includes washing the car and applying 2 coats of paste wax. The wishful thinking is that the wax layer helps the paint finish withstand stones a little better than it might without it? Post track day cleanup is a breeze, even without the Track Spray. However, this last track day at Sears, was only a month after Laguna Seca, so I didn't reapply paste wax, and the cleanup was slightly more difficult, which is why I tried the Track Spray.

I have had success with removing road/tar (not from the track but just recently paved roads) using NANOLEX RACE FILM REMOVER and NANOLEX TAR REMOVER. I used them on the barrel of my wheels, not the paint itself, but seemed to be pretty easy with mostly just spraying on, waiting 2-3 minutes, power wash off. 1 or 2 spots needed to be wiped off, but was pretty painless/quick.
