Hi everyone,

Trying to get some fresh tyres for my M3. I would like the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S however I can't find any for the front that aren't MO1.

Is it okay still and just some Mercedes approval thing?

Thanks guys will order the MO1 front. How strange I can't get non MO1….

MO1 is just a marketing gimmick. It just means that they have either met, or exceeded what Mercedes want in a tire for specific models (mostly AMG).

Michelin PSS/4's are fine for your car and you can replace them at anytime along with most any tire as long as they are ZR rated and above.

I have been using 285/30/19 on the front and that size is almost all MO1.

I used mostly MPSS because for trackdays I prefer the MPSS over the MPS4S.

If my experience translates to your size and 4S, you will be fine.
