Forgot to take pics during the process. I made templates from cardboard first then cut the foam board. After that I used spray adhesive to put the carpet on. Everything is just pressed in there tightly (not screwed on or velcro) and doesn't move. It makes it easy and quick to take out if I need the extra room. Ill take some close up pics

If anyone is interested, I have a few metal brackets left over from when I was fab'ing a rear seat delete. I actually machined a few of them. I will take pics and you guys can let me know if you want any of them.

If anyone wants any of these brackets let me know. I think I have 4-5 sets of them. The first bracket uses the factory hardware and mounting position of the seat back to anchor a cross beam into place.
Then there is an angled bracket that bolts onto the first piece. There is also an upper bracket that I had planned to weld loops onto the back which would snap into the OEM locations for the seat backs. It was just one project that I never finished back when i was tracking the car a lot. But now that I have my rear seats back in I have no use for this stuff. I R&D'd a bit of money into these pieces so a small donation to help defray some of my costs would be generous from anyone who wants them. |

Here is my attempt.
It's missing the top cap piece in this picture but I think it came out really nice and professional. Alcantara suede with "Quik-Latches" for easy removal or more trunk room if hauling something bigger. The panels are very lightweight and I added sound deadening materials that might even do a better job than the original seats did. All in all. I'm happy with it. |
