Track Tire Question
<SORRY FOLKS WRONG FORUM PLEASE IGNORE>
I just got a new set of wheels and tires (below) to track my '08 135i. I thought I found a thread that said 245/40/18 would work on the rear w/o any rubbing. Now today I see some folks complaining about rubbing at that size. I figure it could be the specific tire that makes the difference so if anyone else has tried this configuration with the Nitto NT01, I would appreciate some feedback so I can know if I should mount them or return them for another tire. Wheels Front: 18x8 ASA AR1 SML Rear: 18x9 ASA AR1 SML Tires Front: Nitto NT-01 225/40ZR-18 Rear: Nitto NT-01 245/40ZR-18 Last edited by frmla1fan; 03-24-2010 at 08:02 PM.. Reason: Mistake |

You'll probably have better luck on 1Addicts since the offsets/clearance are totally different on the M3.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
