Just installed it and paired with my existing Carbon AFE intake!! Love the beautiful sound from the pilot seat!!
Congratulations, it looks great!

This air box drops the curtain and amplifies the S65 symphony to tantalising levels.

Prior to installing, I actually drove normally every once in a while and now refuse to sit below 5k RPMs.

Here's to hoping that the next gen is even thinner so we can let our S65 children scream in full unadulterated glory!

What made the bigger difference, the AFE intake? Or the CF plenum?

Had the afe intake before the Eventuri plenum. Absolutely no comparison to which make the most noise. Not even close. You can guess which is louder.

Night and day between the AFE intake and the CF plenum, since the Plenum was already a 1:1 fitment with our OE plenum, I did not feel the need to use my stock Elbow or spending an additional 1k for the Eventuri intake since I already have the CF AFE intake. Overall, the two works well together...exspecially WOT over 5k!!!

Curious Question,

Would/Will Eventuri Make a version of this plenum with just a straight open throat?
i.e. remove the turned elbow so that a ram air type system could be used from the front grill?

I know there's a company out there that already makes one but, i'd prefer the Eventuri due to the Natural Stock look versus just some bubbly looking Box.

Like this one in my car? M24 box, needs M24 tune as well to properly work, otherwise car bogs down and throws codes. It's oh so yummy tho

Yea, except they have one that removes the OEM air box and the intake is straight through the front kidney grills.

has anyone paired this with a loud exhaust like a Meister gt2? Wondering if the loud exhaust will drown out the sound of the plenum.

Anyone on the fence should just bite the bullet and do this mod. It's that good.

Video recorded with the windows up and my phone sitting on the passenger seat. Exhaust is test pipes + resonator delete + MPE. I'd say my exhaust setup is loud-ish and it plays with the plenum very nicely. Plenum dominates at WOT and exhaust dominates at partial throttle and quick downshifts.

My track car has bimmerworld headers, catless xpipe without resonators and a aa rear section. It's loud enough to wake the dead. You can still hear the Karbonius airbox and I suppose it's a similar loudness to the Evolve

That's insane, I had an aa exhaust, and the meister is probably 30-40% louder, I'm excited to hear this plenum. But the bullet

I find that I generally prefer the sound with the windows up if I just want to hear induction from the engine.

That's the main draw for me.. I will get one of these. My Corsa and test pipes is glorious in the fall/spring with windows down...but it would be so nice to have this intake for all seasons, and to make windows up driving that much more fun.

Just one note is that for better or worse you really only hear it at wide open throttle. Just putting around town at 30% throttle won't wake up the throttle bodies. The upside here is that it pretty much sounds stock when you are giving a ride to the grandparents. If you want it to sound like a race car you have to drive it like one.

I find this dual character to be the main draw!
Baby it around town and it's completely stealth. Step on the throttle and all hell breaks loose. Downshifts are insane too. Best.Mod.Ever.
