AW E92 M3 DCT Stripper

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 24,500.00

Item Interest
Located Socal 93021 / 93065

It took me a very long time to find this spec. My opinion, This isn't your ordinary E92 M3 DCT 7 Speed. It's something special. It is known as a "Stripper" version. Some call it a "Light Weight" version. That means it is "stripped down" from all of the useless options. From my understanding, these were only special orders from BMW. This is how you get the cleaner/ flat dashboard, without the ugly and antiquated nav system. This version is sought out by BMW enthusiasts and is, in my opinion, more collectible.

The options are the Carbon
Roof, Leather Seats, Electronic Dampening Suspension (EDC).

Great car, love the mods. Not sure if that would be a stripper, more of just a single hump with the options you have though.

How does she run at 145k?

+1, I would go as far to say that any car with EDC is not a "stripper." Additionally, any car not optioned with the technology package / navigation came without navigation; no "special order" needed. Cool spec nonetheless!

Agreed. A car with leather, premium sound and edc is 3 additional options away from a stripper spec. It's two options away from being a fully optioned car. That said, if I could remove any two options from my car those would be it: no nav and no glass in the roof.

The carbon fiber roof is standard, not an option!

For any interested buyers: I test drove/inspected the car personally. The car drove great, looks well maintained and would buy it with confidence from the seller. I ultimately decided to go with a lower mileage example, otherwise I would already own it.

Good luck with the sale Winston.

I don't believe premium sound was an option without navigation. You may not have that option. Are your speaker grills silver? Do you have a center dash speaker and rear parcel deck speakers?

Ha! Small world. Yes, you are one step closer to stripper status. You have base level sound system
