FSW_PSW Request

I wonder if anyone could get for me, or has access to a FSW_PSW.trc file for the DSC module of an e90 M3 with servotronic steering, please? I'm looking to compare values with my e91 DSC, since I've installed an M3 steering rack.

So far I've only been able to find a file from a 1M, but I can't download it due to account/moderation issues on that forum (BMW coding dot com).

Thanks in advance...

See attached. Mine has some changes for EU-spec MDM and some changes to the coefficient of friction values.
Attached Files
File Type: txt FSW_PSW.TRC.txt (446 Bytes, 156 views)

Amazing, thanks!

What did you change in the CoF values, and why?

Is this file complete? I think there is quite a lot missing...I can only see 37 lines.

Yup. The M3DSC ECU's trace file isn't very big at all.

That's probably another reason why the m3 is so much nicer to drive hard than the series cars

I'll have to look again at the 1m files, since it seems to share a lot of the parameters that are available in my e91.

Thanks again!

No problem! As for the coefficient of friction changes, I did it about four years ago and don't really remember what exactly I modified. There's a large thread on here that discusses these MDM changes at length, perhaps that can give you the answers you seek.

Basically, the changes I made gives the car some more liberty before DSC intervention.
