Wheel stud length with Forgestar F14 SDC

I've searched all through the forums, but can't find any details for this setup. I want to do a stud conversion for my F14 SDC's and I want the studs to poke through open ended lug nuts about 1 inch (best estimate from other pics). Obviously the most influential spec is stud length, but I know there's some lug nuts that are shorter/longer than others too.

My wheel specs are:

Forgestar F14 Super Deep Concave
Front: 19x10 +19
Rear: 19x11 +27

Here's one picture of pretty much what I'm looking for (yes, I tried asking the user about his pic, but no response so far)

And here's a close up of a different wheel, but exactly the length and nut type I want

Looks like 90mm is what you need.

My wheels aren't forgestars, but you will definitely need longer studs for the rears to get even poke of 1 inch in both front and rears. Here's a pic of the front wheels using 63mm in front. I have 78mm studs in rear and they poke out less.
Wheel specs are f 9.5 et22, r 10.5 et21

Thanks for sharing, this is what I was worried about if I just blindly ordered one size. What brand are your studs/nuts?

They are from ecs tuning, they sell the half set kits of 10. I measured my stud requirement by adding an inch to the wheel centre cap and measuring the distance from existing wheel bolt to get to that 1 inch distance (if that makes sense) the key is knowing the length of your existing wheel bolt and adding from there. Are you using OEM bmw 47mm wheel bolt at the moment?
it helps to sketch it out and make sure you order the lengths you need.

Yeah I'm just using OEM bolts right now. I see what you mean, even the stock bolts don't stick out the same front/rear.

That's right, the different offsets and wheel widths between f and r will make the lengths of your studs differ. Also, a few tips,
-if you diy at home make sure your socket set is long enough to reach the nut.
-install studs with the recommended loctite.

I have F14 SDC with the macht schnell 75mm and I feel like they are too long.
65mm would be ideal for me. Defs do not go 90mm.

Pretty sure i get like 1.5 inches with open ended nuts. Unfortunately with it being winter I cant snap a pic for you but trust me 75mm is the option you want if your choices are 45mm 75mm or 90mm.

Since every rim is different the 90mm in the pic above is what my 75mm look like on the SDC (or I ordered 75mm and they sent me 90mm LOL)

Bumping one more time for help. Now that it's warm outside I'm about to order a kit. I tried measuring from my OEM wheel bolts, but I'm not sure I have it right. First of all, I measured from the top of the bolt to where I want it to stick out, but I'm wondering how the stud kits are measured - total length or length from the "hump"? It looks like the 63mm (front) and 78mm (rear) kits from ECS might be perfect depending on the reference point for that measurement.

From memory, I recall the measurement Is the total length, contact
phousley@ecstuning.com
He should be able to confirm.

Hey m3mph1s,
I've checked the ecs website, and for the 63mm stud, if you scroll all the way down to 'kit contents' it provides a description of the 'thread length' and it states it as 70mm. (What the?) This doesn't make sense, so I would definitely query ECS on this spec.
This would confuse customers, cos If you have a look at the 78mm stud page, it states 78mm thread length, which appears to be correct.
Hope this helps, thought I'd give you a heads up since you are on a mission to get it the way you want it.
Cheers.

Thanks man, I noticed the same thing. I've actually decided to go with 75mm studs from Bimmerworld on all 4 wheels. They have a nice picture showing the different lengths of the stud and I did some re-measuring and it looks like it will be perfect. I will post pictures of the fitment once they arrive.

This is just a test fit on the front, but 75mm looks perfect! I'll post more pictures of front and rear once I install.

More pics - excuse the dirty wheels!

Again, this is the 75mm kit from BW (both front and rear). Also, protip, don't waste your money buying the threadlocker from BW; I just put one small yet sufficient drop on each stud and only had enough for 16-17 studs. Just buy your own from Home Depot/Amazon/etc.

First 3 pics are front, second 3 pics are rear

Great that's the same specs & tire size I purchased for my e90. Forgestar f14. I don't return to the states till later on this year but looking at your car will give me a snapshot of what mine is to look like!!
