You know, it might actually be helpful for folks to post base car purchase price due to the huge variance in taxes and fees from state to state. The sellers aren't actually making any money on that so the pre-tax price is the relevant comparison point.

The reason I mention this is that price seems just extraordinarily high, but I have no idea what insane taxes you guys have to pay in Khalifornia. I'm hoping it's a lot in this case. Or I'm driving my car out there and selling it!

In Los Angeles County, we pay 9.75% sales tax/ used car tax on the final purchase price. Living in CA can blow at time; 9.3% state income tax, sales tax of 9.75%. Beats living in Canada eh.

$37,900....

Don't hate too much on the miles(kinda insecure about it)! Car looks brand new and I'm only planning on keeping it for 2 years(plus its my dream car).. at which point I'll trade in for a newer M3.The M3 was almost a straight trade for my A5...

is it CPO? If not, I'd say "it's not bad". If it is I'd say you could maybe knock another 3K off and you'd have a nice deal there.

I found a 2008 E92 M3 Black/Black - Tech Package, Premium, M Drive,NAV, DCT, CPO 48K miles. How much would guys offer on this car. They are asking 49K for it (which I know is too high).

Personally, there is no price that would be right to me for this car. Presumably for that high mileage it would be less than several comparable ones above. However for a couple thousand more and with a couple months of patience I am certain you could find the identical car with <20K, possbily even less.

G/L - sounds like a nice configuration, but that also is fairly common.

I agree, nothing attractive about this car.

if you had to offer, I would offer in the mid-30s
