Sunroof Cover Liner Sagging

The driver side of the sunroof liner seems to have come undone. Does anyone know how to DIY a fix for this or should I take it to an interior specialist? I can tuck up above the main headliner so it looks ok OR push back the sunroof cover back so the sunroof is always exposed but that isn't a permanent solution.

I've got the same ordeal, I've read that you must re upholster it, or remove all that crud, the spongey material and lay a coat of adhesive and do it that way.

So for now I just tuck it back into place haha

Can only be reupholstered. If I lived closer to you I'd do it for free. I'm the master.

Believe it or not, it's actually simple to remove the slider. You'll first need to remove the sunroof glass which is only held in place by 6 screws. Plenty of DIYs for that. Once it's out you can take the slider somewhere and have it re-done.

Where are you located? I'd love to have mine done. I'm located in central Texas, stationed at Ft Hood!

Im in Bryan, its not as easy as people think with various clips and springs. HOWEVER, the sunroof piece has very little spongy material like the headliner itself. It may be doable for a man who has been trained in the armed forces

I used this vendor for mine. DAP cement at home depot or lowes. You can ebay it as well. Ill message you the next time I go to Austin.

Do not use a liner with thick backing on sunshade, it will cause roof to malfunction. The material I saw was almost consistent with the material they use in gardens to block weeds. You can get away with a thick foam but will not be able to use auto open function as you'll have to use hand to keep shade from going to far into hood. It can be retrieved if you do but is a PITA.
