any recommendations to repair valve cover leak in Sydney?

Had it repaired at a shop previously, barely lasted 2 years before it started leaking again slowly, been driving around with it leaking but it has got worse recently

US owners on Forums I follow claim the issue is also with the actual covers themselves that are made of magnesium. The magnesium reacts with the oil over time and breaks down. There are after-market versions made of aluminium.

Your covers are likely corroded and replacing the gaskets won’t help.

You can either get the NRW covers, or take your covers to powdercoaters to blast and coat, although these will still fail eventually due to corrosion.

I went with the latter two years ago, still holding up. (I bought a used set on eBay, coated, and then replaced my covers along with a new set of gaskets)
