z4 3.osi vs. infiniti g35?

Does anybody think I could take a g35 with my 3.0si? One of my friends has stock 05 g35 and insists that he would kill me..but I doubt that. What does everybody else think?

Don't know, but I'll use this time to say one of your buddies tried to race me the other day. Poor guy, but I gave him a friendly wave because I like z4s.

your saying your z4 is 2400 pounds? i think your doing your math wrong. g35 is about roughly 3500 lbs.

anyways, the 3.0si is slightly faster than the g35 0-60mph. 1/4 mile they are VERY close. Basically, this race comes down to the driver. IMHO, good driver vs good driver, z4 will win.

I own both
05 g35 and a 07 Z4 3.0 SI
sorry to say, but I'm pretty sure my G would take the Z....
never raced them together as I dont let anyone drive my cars
but raced both against friends.. I have a harder time keeping up with my friends (Evos and the likes) with my Z than I did with my G...

the Z does feel nicer in drive feeling though

but u gotta love the exhaust note on the G....
if only they could make a Z35 or a G4 lol

I can tell you 100% that you would "kill" him in both straight line and on a track.

I have a friend with a slightly (intake, exaust) modded G35 6MT and I can take him faily easily.

At higher speeds, drag and horsepower play bigger roles then weight. Both of which the G35 will PWN the Z4 at. It is even worse when the Z4 top is down. At low speeds, the Z4 might pull slightly due to the weight advantage, but it won't last long at all when the G35 gets up to speed.

When I had an S2000, we had a Z4 3.0 and a G35 run. Needless to say the Z4 3.0 ended up dead last, and the G35 came up top. I know however, the S2000 will not be so lucky with the 3.0si.

I cant pick without knowing the transmissions involved. the g35 MT is a much faster car than a g35AT.

I'd say G35 MT > You > G35AT (in terms of this race... not ranking the cars overall or anything)

if your Z4 is manual u will take that g35 easily and you can think that your car is BMW and the other one is huh!!! Of course BMW is the best.... And I think that your car is out of BMW beacuse it is Z4
