Re-Polishing Powdercoated Exhaust Tips

I purchased an exhaust that was either powdercoated or ceramic coated all black. I touched up all of the nicks on parts other than the tips as I want to polish out the exhaust tips.

Any help as to the best way to go about polishing them would be appreciated. I'd like them to be a mirror finish, but if brushed is the best I'll get, so be it.

Think I figured it out. Going through the 400, 800, 1000, 1200 grit sandpaper followed by metal polish method. I'll post up results.

Need to re-clean up the black part now, but the tips are all polished up:

I wish I could take credit...I ended up breaking down and sending it to a polishing shop.

The shop takes care of police officers in the area, so one of my family members who is a police officer dropped them off for me. $70 later, ready to clean up the black part and install this weekend once the x-pipe gets here.
