M Drive versus ZCP

does the enhanced sport mode mapping of comp package allow one the same less intrusive dsc setting that tech package m drive provides?

I would guess you would still need to get the Tech package for higher threshold DSC setting(MDM?). As far as I have read, just the EDC settings are adjusted for the comp package.

(edit. just saw in another thread that someone said there is a retuned DSC, still think you would need tech package to access it)

No. The enhanced Sport mode is a function of EDC and is simply a retuned version of the Sport mode that exists on non-ZCP cars with EDC. You must actually have MDrive to use the MDM DSC mode (which is what you are referring to). And MDrive is only available as part of the ZTP package in the US.
