GVA: where for OEM Exhaust Mod
Hi,
As title says, for those of you who've done the OEM exhaust mod in the VANCOUVER area, where did you get it done and for how much? Read many posts and many have said that the mod is excellent and that it doesn't affect driving quality and power delivery. Also, noob question, for those who have done the mod, some people leave the "dead dog" (the woolly stuff inside) in the muffler housing once they swap the pipes, some people take it out. What does that thing actually do? Thank you very much!

TTT,
Really? No one around GVRD have done this mod? xD Will like to do this mod prior to getting an exhaust system down the road (that is IF i will at all, quite satisfied with stock, just wish it could be a tad bit louder). Thanks!

Heard from someone they got it done in Surrey for $200 or something similar
for $600 i will not do it for sure, might as well buy the tools + DIY haha.

Just got mine done last weekend at The Speed Syndicate in Burnaby. They do these often and sounds great. Give them a call for a quote and if you want to hear mine in person shoot me a pm.

Once you have it off and the pipes cut, I'm sure u can find someone local to weld the new pieces on for like $50. |

That's what i heard as well, usually its around or <$200...
DIY might not be bad option, but for a $200 job, i'd rather pay xD, dont want to cut into the muffler myself, seems like too much work haha. Thank you very much!
