OETuning M3 DCT DYNO RESULTS
Just got back from getting my car tuned by OETuning here in NY at NRGtech in Long Island - I'm definetly happy with the results.
The modifications for the baseline runs are as follows: Gintani Catless X-Pipe w/ 4 resonators Gintani Sport Exhaust RPI Ram Air Scoops MS Pulleys MS filter Runs done in 85 degree weather with 60% humidity. Run 1: 355whp, 252wtq UNCORRECTED 357whp, 253wtq SAE 365whp, 259wtq STD Run 2: 359whp, 250wtq UNCORRECTED 360whp, 252wtq SAE 368whp, 257wtq STD Heres the graph for the baseline runs in STD: We then uploaded a tune, then took logs and sent it back to Jeremy out west - after getting new files back we then uploaded it, and got a gain at peak hp/tq of 14whp/16wtq - constant gains through the whole rpm range with some areas having gains higher than this. The after results were: Run 1: 371whp, 267wtq UNC 372whp, 267wtq SAE 380whp, 274wtq STD Run 2: 373whp, 267wtq UNC 374whp, 267wtq SAE 382whp, 273wtq STD Heres the graph of the highest baseline against the highest post-tune (std): We didnt give the car much time to adapt, but the second pull with the tune put out more power than the first with the tune - its safe to say that with more adaptation the results would have been even better. Big shout out to JJ@Gintani for making this happen ! JJ doin his thing LOL Last edited by erm324; 05-26-2011 at 11:44 PM.. |

I had the Gintani catless xpipe also, and Jeremy tuned my car and loved every second. Great numbers for being such a hot damn day.

Awesome! I love how the power gains are exactly identical across the board, that must've really taken some talent to do! such tuning precision! Pretty amazing, despite varying volumetric efficiencies that he was able to keep the shape of the stock power curve exactly. Incredible precision in how he just moved the power curve up about 2.5% all across the board!

Nice results! Thanks for sharing! Let us know how it feels on the road
Were all the pulls done in the same gear?

Since it was hot what were the SAE results? must be pretty close to 400whp.
And to those crying about dyno manipulation - look at these third party dynojet results - damn looks alot like the original graph people cried about - over 3000 miles away. |

Yeah I race, I'm looking to hit the track soon to see if I can break 11's like drew..I dont have a VBOX.........
....yeah it was real hot and humid...on a cooler day with better conditions (and tune adaptation) it would probably be closer to 400whp.... ....and no, theres no dyno manipulation at all, as you can see in the video I was the guy on the computer saving EVERY single dyno file to my USB...no manipulation at all, I saved every run with every correction factor... ....after about a week I want to get redynoed in cooler air, numbers should go up... |

I could have EASILY even exaggerated the results by simply not included the second baseline run which yielded about 5 more rwhp than the first....and then from there on simply compared the highest tuned results with the lowest baseline....which would leave me at around a 19-20whp gain....I included all the info so you guys can see exactly what we were seeing...and I have a video of every duno my car did with the results...Im currently putting a vid together and will post it up later on.. all pulls done in same gear btw |

Yea...definitely ridiculous. There is so much drama on the forums these days...it's like watching a reality TV show, haha.
