ST XTA questions/general coilover questions

Hey all, I recently (as in today) attempted to install a set of ST XTA coilovers in my e92, started on the right rear and very quickly found out I received the EDC kit for my non EDC car, question is because it was "installed" (never held weight of the vehicle) I'm pretty certain they won't take an exchange so, am I super f****d? Can I Frankenstein something and try and install EDC upper shock mounts to get the struts to fit? The rep I talked to said the rear struts were the only thing that was different between the kits. TIA!

Just order the EDC rear shock mounts. front is same for both, only the rear has a different mount.

Just the rears are different, you need parts 4,5,6, and 7 to convert to EDC rear
