Hey Ryan, is there an option to weld the Street to the stock primary cats or is it best to just clamp them? Thinking of purchasing an extra set of stock cats and welding them to the Street so that if I ever have to go back to stock, I don't have to cut them again and weld the OEM x-pipe.

If you were to weld them I would source the full OEM X-pipe to be sure the length is correct. This way you can keep your stock X-pipe in tact and swap out if needed.

Thanks, Ryan! That's what I was thinking of doing. Search for a full OEM x-pipe begins.

I've heard all the other X-pipes but I like this one the best.
I want to get the Sport pipe with the 200 cell, to eliminate the smell.
What would you say the power difference between the Race and the Sport would be?

Im going to be pairing with stock muffler....for now

Saw your sale and figured it was time to change up from a super old Gintani X-pipe I got used to something a little new - RKP X-Pipe Sport.

Looking forward to see the end result and how it sounds, thanks!

I'm intrigued since you say the Street is good for 10-15lb/ft. Usually people say the secondaries aren't worth that much power. I'm lusting after those torque gains of a primary delete, but not the smell or volume or smog hassles. The Street, keeping the primaries in place, should be the best for me when it comes to smell and volume, and it seems to offer much of the gains.
How much louder is the street compared to the stock midpipe? Does it add rasp? How would the sound compared to an OEM Xpipe with test pipes (primary delete)?

On the Sport, can you confirm who makes the cats? Are they Vibrant?

Can you PM the price for the Street model shipped to CA?

Thanks!

Also, any idea if the Sport pipe will ever be offered with a GESi cat? I know it was mentioned before along with a titanium version, just wondering if it’s still in the hopper. Thanks!

Can someone please get back to me about my order? #85028

I've been trying to call for the past 2 weeks - beginning of working hours, end of working hours, middle of working hours and NO ONE answers the phone.

I placed my order almost a month ago and have yet to hear from you all except the automated billing/invoice system that told me that you've taken my money and I have yet to receive a product from you or shipping date.

I've scoured your website thinking maybe I was mistaken and you needed to actually fab the X-pipe, but no where on any of your exhaust setups does it say "Please wait 2-4 weeks as all X-pipes/Exhaust needs to be custom fabricated". If you all are off during the holidays, all good, but you give NO indication on your website that you'll be out.

While I did just e-mail you today, finally frustrated having not been able to speak with anyone, you have multiple forms of communication listed on your website - telephone being one of them. I've tried to call probably 1-2 times a day since 12/11 when I noticed I had yet to receive an e-mail about shipping.

At this point, do I need to start looking for another company to order an x-pipe from and talking to my credit card company?

I would be curious to hear how the street version pairs with the MPE. If anyone has videos or links, please let me know.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I don't know much about piping.
I noticed the street pipe does not say full bolt on like the race and sport x pipes, instead it says it has a "flanged design for easy installation."

Does this mean there is some fabrication/welding required?

Same here. I haven’t seen one post from anyone that has it yet...RKP would benefit from test fitting and posting videos. I’m sure it would boost sales...

You cut your OEM xpipe behind the primary cats and slip the Street pipe on behind it. So, not a simple bolt on, but doesn’t require fabrication or welding either. Just cutting. In the first picture of the first post, you can see it next to the OEM pipe to get an idea of where its cut and slipped on.

Yeah, I heard back.

They missed my order (even thought they charged me for it) and the sales team/internet team didn't get back to me that none of the street pipes are available until Feb at the earliest.

I explained to them that I have no issues waiting, but nowhere on the website does it say that, nor did I have any e-mails or correspondence about having to wait 3+ months.

You can go to the page now, https://ind-distribution.com/product...l-x-pipe-sport , and see that no where on their does it give you a warning that they will not ship until February at the earliest. I told them that they need to update that but looks like nothing has changed, whomp whomp.

It comes down to just lack of communication and not updating the website. An annoyance, but they are helping me out by not charging me shipping, so that's nice I guess.

I have the MPE v2 and just purchased some stock primary cats that someone cut off when they did a cat delete. Ordering the street x pipe soon and will get it welded to the cats I got so that way I can go back to my stock x pipe and cats if I ever have to.

Plan to do some before and after video comparisons. Not sure how long it will take if the x pipes are on back order though.

So have the RKP Street Pipe and think I've found a place that can weld on the primary cats I was able to get my hands on. Hoping the cats weren't cut too short. My smog check and registration is due in June so I should get the renewal notice from DMV soon. Want to get the smog check out of the way before I install the new x-pipe just in case.

I’ll be following, excited to see what it sounds like and if there is a little power bump!

Me too, hopefully I can find a shop to do the job. First one I reached out to said they can't do it since I'm deleting the secondary cats.

Waiting to hear back from another shop.
