2010 e90 price

Guys, I here is my dilemma. I am in the market for an e90 or an e92. I have a friend at work who is trying to sell his 2010 e90. It is black on black fully loaded and has 17k miles. I said that I am very interested but am not sure what this car is worth ad what I should pay for. We are negotiating a price and currently he wants 53k for it. Is that a good price for this car or should continue to negotiate. And what is a good price for that car.

Thanks for any help.

I'm in the market for a M3 sedan black on black. 2009 or later. Might be interested if it is in good condition and is loaded.

I guess I wasn't clear. I wanted to find out from you guys if it's a good deal to buy the car for 54k. The reason he is selling is that his commute is Long and spends a lot of time in traffic so he wants something more economical.
