This is an awesome looking build. I don't know how I've missed it!

Update on intake.

Looks like the OEM and CSF radiators are slightly to big to tilt to clear the GS intake.

So talked to CSF and they recommended the CSF radiator for the 335/135 cars. Same width but 3 or 4 rows shorter. And with the tilt the surface area increase the lose of rows is negated.

Here is the intake installed.

Also my CSF Radiator is for sale if anyone is interested. Should be off next week once new one is installed.

Never seen one stripped down like that in the front, any more pictures of it like that from the sides? I am looking for space to fit a big intercooler in mine

I think this intake needs ecu tune, right?
Is chip tune suitable for this?

Yes a ecu tune is need to optimize.

Yeah it was pretty loud but tolerable. Just a temp solution to a problem we where having.

I tried running a straight pipe after my Akra X-pipe. I ran it exactly one day and pulled it off. Way too loud for me. I've settled on a rear section pipe with a resonator fabricated by a local shop. I still wear ear plugs. My ears ring if I don't.

Haven't had it on a dyno yet. We had some overheating issues bc of lack of air flow to the new radiator location. Testing Wednesday on the overheating issue.

We did go to a slightly smaller radiator for the 135/335. The tilted angle should negate the lose of a few rows. Same width and thickness as the M3 radiator.

Is that mesh open enough in the lower opening in particular? I can't tell from the photo the driver's side intake looks like it might be ok but can't tell just looking at this pic I have seen people overheat their cars trying to keep junk out of the radiators with screen that doesn't have enough void space. It starts to have a big impact on flow because you get turbulent air past the mesh, fine mesh really slows down and disturbs airflow. Swing a tennis racquet with the mesh you are using on it, if you feel more resistance with the mesh than wtihout, it's probably too fine to put in front of the main rad (you do have a tennis racquet with you, right? BMW owners usually do? )?

Its all the same mesh size. We are testing tomorrow so we shall see. Easy engouht to change to bigger mesh if needed.
