Learned a hard lesson a week ago. Lock nuts or loctite on these bolts or you may be doing something like this...

I'm considering the 67" APR GT-250 wing with the standard mount. Is there any reason to go with the swan neck instead? It seems like for the levels of down force & drag that we see on our platform the swan neck would provide at best very minimal advantages over the standard mount for the amount of labor & money increase. Or am I looking at it wrong and there is a significant difference between the two mounts that would translate to a noticeable reduction in drag while still being able to generate the same amount of down force?

You have to focus the field of view. I can't remember since its been a bit but I think its like focusing a phone for a picture. Click the screen where you want it to focus and needs to be done each time its turned on. It re sets each time

Light balance is jacked up. I think it's called "iso settings" in the menu. I think i have the hero 4 black and it remembers each time I turn it on.

From what I understand, the swan neck it's self creates more downforce by freeing up space under the wing. However, the mounts are different. What I've always liked about the traditional mounted APR wings, is the large bases that mount to the trunk. I don't think the swan necks have those large bases towards the sides of the trunk... I'd look into recommended mounting methods for swan necks, the only applications I've seen have been chassis mounted.

That is my understanding as well - that at the same AOA with the same wing - a swan neck mount will create more down force than the traditional - but also with a bit more drag. But I can't really find any data for if you drop the AOA of a swan neck mount to match the amount of down force a standard would create - which would have less drag? It sounds like swan neck would create less in that scenario but that it might not be a significant difference on the E9x platform. So that brings me to would difference be worth the effort & expense to go with the swan neck (chassis mount, trunk, all that good stuff)? At the levels that we run would it just be a negligible amount of gain?

There are some things that I do that I 100% don't need for the track. These are things I simply like and want to do. Try to figure out if you're drawn to a swan neck because you want it... there are a ton of fast dudes out there without swan necks.

Definitely not afraid of something 100% not needed for the track (have some DTM style headlights on the way ). This one I’m basing on functionality though.

There’s should be a setting for “spot metering” somewhere, that should help, but you may still have to compromise a bit on quality depending on how sunny it is.

It's called Auto Exposure in Hero5. You have to hold the screen down, then tap the windshield, click the check mark to confirm. It will reset every time the Hero5 is turned off.

I had better luck with mine. Set FOV to Linear, 1080p60fps, AutoExposure locked to the windshield.

Spent more time under the damn car than on track. But amazingly the second lap ever on jrz on "street tires" I had the fastest first half of the track vs my previous "street tire" best lap and it was the checkered flag lap but I kept pushing just for the first half to feel the car.

NT01 also feel much better on the jrz than my kw setup. But it's also four working dampers vs two lolol

On another note - in my braking video above I'm on MS xpipe with quad resonators and oem mufflers. So quiet. I wonder if that's good enough to pass sound at Laguna. All I hear is transmission noise lol
