Unicorn Testing Waters for sale...

Hi all,

My wife and i are selling our home and had to really talk about our finances. I am entertaining the idea of selling my m3. This took me long to find and i even had it shipped to CA from IL. I would like some feedback on how to properly price this car aggressively. Here are the specs/details below.

2011 M3
ZCP
E90
69k miles currently
*6 speed
*Slick-top
*Speed-cloth
**Interlagos blue

The following mods were done before me acquiring her:
Spacers (unsure of the measurements at the moment)
M5 shift knob swap (lights up)

Mods while with me:
AFE Air intake
New bumper/repaint (my dumba55 got distracted reverse parking but i took care of it the right way)

This is a true gem really. The previous owner noted the engine was replaced by BMW (paperwork in hand) due to rod bearings and tracked it 3x which made me hesitant at first. However a friend noted that may be a good thing; that the engine was pushed a bit and no issues. Engine is stock. So i took the risk and bought it. It has been solid and good to me for 2 years no issues .

What would be a good price to set this at? Thanks for all your input!

Nice spec!
Does your car have any of the following options? - idrive, edc, comfort access, and does the speed cloth go all the way up the front seats?
If the car doesn't have any of those options and considering the miles you have a nice specd unicorn that should get you close to 40.
If it has idrive and the other options may be lower.

Post some interior and exterior pics... Assuming the exterior is solid, the interior shots would be good to see. I would throw out a guess of $35K...

Mid 30s

The engine replacement & mileage will scare some people off, but sounds like an amazing spec.

Idrive - Yes
EDC - Yes
Comfort Access - Yes
SpeedCloth all the up front seats - Yes

So having those would actually not be as 'rare'? Thanks for your input btw!

Trust me, it definitely scared me off too at first. But it was crazy, because when i began my search, another interlagos blue m3 e90 6spd came up. I had two options! But based on the mods the other m3 had, i could tell it wasnt done tastefully and took a risk on this one i have now. So glad i did.

Low 30's and I wouldn't call it a unicorn.

If I hadn't just bought my 2013 in December I'd seriously consider this car for mid 30s based on what little info we have to go on at this point.

An interlagos e90 zcp with speed cloth, slicktop, and 6mt is for sure a rare spec.

Typically having the humpless idrive design is looked at favorably by people who are looking to buy cars with less options. I think there are multiple threads about this. Either way you got a great car! Don't sell it
