Is ESS writing custom maps for your setup to accomodate the fueling? Or is this the same standard map with tweaks to your modificiations?

I ran E85 on my old STI, and was always curious about running it in the M. Going VT2-625 soon and wouldn't mind putting a little E85 in for some extra octane if the tuning/ECU can compensate.

VT3 is a different injector, but different pump as well?

Make sure you lube it up well, easy on your shifter, dont jerk it too much or you might just break your shaft.

Or a Vargas TT setup, both of those setups are impressive.

If you have enough fuel (from the pump(s)) you can add some E85 and the ECU will adjust for the higher octane, and add fuel do to the E85 mix, there is plenty of pump and injector there in my situation for this type of mix. If I added more or went full E85 I'd need a new tune and injectors. I'm not sure I'd run an E85 mix on a VT625, I don't think there's enough pump there.

That beast sounds terrifying. Could you provide any details and pics of the built motor? Or am I not looking in the correct forum? Awesome car congrats on breaking that elusive 700 mark!

Also, I was under the impression that the factory DTC's had a hard time handling power levels above 600whp? Did you replace the clutch packs or upgrade any parts of the drive train?

I'd imagine you get gtr, porsche, and/or corvette guys trying to instigate mischief on the open roads

Thanks for sharing.

Yes it has drop in Low Compression Pistons, Carillo Rods, and BMW Motorsport Bearings, it has the OEM clutch packs. Here's the build thread:

We could probably go with more boost, but this blower is most likely maxed out at 13-14psi. The DCT is holding strong, AFR's are good on the in car gauge, high 11's to low 12's, this was on 11 gallons of 91/100 mix and 4 gallons of E85.

Robert will put together a full overview but for now here is the highest run today. I will also eventually dyno again at Specialty Z, another widely used dynojet in my area. It reads the same as EAS' dyno, in fact I hit exactly the same #'s on the previous, larger, pulley, 686 STD and 667 SAE, on both dyno's within a few weeks apart.

SPECIAL THANKS to: Anthony@EAS for the below vid and pics, AWESOME work as always!
