M3 E92 best Tire Size for ESS G1 SC

Hey guys,
i ordered the G1 SC from ESS and now i'm thinking of upgrading my tires. I currently have the Michelin PSS in 245/35+265/35 on the M359 GTS wheels with 12mm spaces in the front and 10mm in the back. Additional i got a KW CS 2-way with -2,2 front and -2,0 rear camber.

I'm going for the PS4S, but i'm not sure which size makes the most sense. I can't decide between the following 3 sizes:

- standard size 245/35+265/35 PS4S
- upgrading to 255/35+275/35 PS4S
- upgrading to GTS size: 255/35+285/30 PS4S

Would the GTS size be a big improvement for the grip? Or will i get fitment problems with the GTS size?

I would go as wide as I can in the rear if I was supercharged so 285/30 gts sizing would be the minimum
And If you can fit more tire I would.

i would stick with the OEM stagger on 255/35 and 275/35. Not sure you'll get much benefit from a shorter sidewall on an only slightly wider tire (via 285/30).

It’s because you can go wider while keeping the same overall wheel diameter. The 35 sidewall is too tall once you go 285+ Also makes a huge difference coming from the stock 265 and you can break 275s on stock power levels he won’t be able to hook on a supercharger.

As I understand it, for straight line grip, which is what I assume you're looking for with such increased power, is helped by more contact patch which isn't increased with a wider tire (which is a bit counterintuitive) but by the tire squating (more rubber). You might want to research if a tire with a larger profile (like a 35 instead of a 30) would help your situation.

Lowering tire pressure a few PSI will give you more grip I believe.

Edit: Better (lower tread wear) tires will give you more grip too ofc. I'd rather run 245/265 PS4S than 255/285 Hankook v12s. And I think lower profile (like 30 with the 285) requires higher pressure, so less squating, less contact patch *I think*.
