Various E90 M3 parts for sale

Hi Everyone,

Well my E90 M3 has been sold, therefore I have a few things up for sale.

Akrapovic slip on with carbon fibre tips
Been on the car 7 months, done only 4000klms. Had this combined with the Gintani X Pipe for sale, wasn't too loud but loud enough, the sound was so good I had people chasing me down to ask me about it, plus compliments everywhere I went. SOLD

Gintani X pipe with HFC
Been on car 7 months, bought used from DaveDee. Will fit E92 $1200

H&R Sport lowered springs
Been on car 7 months, 4000klms SOLD

Pirelli PZero Tyres
285/30/19 rear and 255/35/19 fronts, been on car under 500klms, basically brand new, cost $2500. $1500

BMW M3 220M 19" wheels
With Bridgestone Potenza 265/35/19 rear and 245/35/19 front tyres, approx. 70-80% tread left, slight scuffs on two wheels. SOLD

GTC Wheels
GT-CS matte black wheels, 19 x 10 rears (ET25) and 19 x 8.5 fronts (ET20) Have a really deep dish at the back, no marks. SOLD

Just wanted a change really, along with something newer with warranty and a car more usable on the street.

I am tunning 275/35 with ZCP wheels at the rear. It fill the arch really well with a slight bulge.

Already been replaced! While an exotic would be nice, I don't have a very strong case with a 5 month old baby!

Got a Mercedes C63 AMG Edition 507.

Edit, pics are up of wheels.

Well done ... how would you compare the two experiences so far?

Well even though the two cars are meant to be competition for each other, they really couldn't be more different. All the comparison reviews out there pretty much sum it up, but in a nut shell, these are my opinions after owning both... But keep in mind I am comparing a 2009 M3 Sedan with a new Edition 507...

- C63 seems more modern.
- The 507 is just an animal when you put the foot down, it's a point and shoot missle, would leave the M3 on the straight, M3 would beat it on the corners.
- M3 DCT gearbox far better, but to be honest if your just driving on the street, the MCT does a ok job and no where near as bad as I was expecting with what people have written.
- C63 feels heavier, but more solid and comfortable for daily driving.
- C63 interior is far nicer and a better place to be, stereo pumps too.
- I thought I would miss the sound of the M3 more, but the sound of a 6.2L AMG V8 at open throttle is just spectacular.
- C63 gets more attention and stares, if that's your thing. Could be a colour thing though.

All in all, both great cars, the C63 suits me better as it's better on the street as a daily driver which is what I was looking for. I just found that you have to push the M3 and drive it spirited to get the most out of it.

One day I will probably go back to an BMW, but it won't be a 6 cylinder turbo M3, they lost me there.

Thank you for an honest comparison. My head might say get a C63 but my heart is not there. I am a die-hard BMW fan. Just me. As you said BMW has sold the soul of the M3. I don't think anyone cares when it comes to the M5/6 but M3 has always been the performance benchmark and going green will definitely hurt.

But, then the new M3 may be appealing to a different buying group.

Enjoy your ride

Yeah sure. They are at my office, so I'll let you know first thing Monday morning. I bought them from Jax Quickfit in January this year and they had to order them in from Pirelli.

Hello Top Shelf, What do you want for the Akrapovic and did you confirm if it will fit a 2008 E92?

How much of an increase did you get with the tune and full exhaust system?

If you have time can you call to discuss as I might take both if the system was free from droning at low revs. Barry 0419 707198

Hi Guys,

I'm still yet to find an answer on whether this Akra Slip On will fit an E92, the X pipe definitely does as it was originally on a Coupe, if anybody knows, please chime in.

There was zero drone with this set up, in my opinion, it was just the right balance without being too loud.

The E90 is shorter so the tips will be about 42mm short of requirement for the E92, only way I can think of would be to make up an extender for the tips but that might look odd and it would be hard to get in Titanium
