Where to buy OEM Euro bumper?

Got some small cracks on my current bumper so I thought it would be a good time to upgrade to the Euro one, PN# 51118043960.

Saw ECS have some coming in in July and it was $749, but holy another $350 for shipping and tax.

Is there any other places where I can get this for a little cheaper? Only other place I know have this is IND which would cost $1550 shipped.

I imagine this is probably not a part that you can get from dealership easily since it's Euro spec?

I feel like I should know this, but is the difference between euro and US only the absence of reflector cut-outs? In the market as well. Getbmwparts has US Spec for $709 and I'm local, so presumably no shipping. They also have decent free shipping deals, so maybe it's worth checking out.

As far as I'm aware yes. I believe though, at least if you order the euro bumper through some vendors, it may only come without holes for headlight washers; my vendor used a template to cut the holes into it because I didn't want to mess with the washer lines and potential fitment issues. Others on here have gone from washers to no washers without issue though; you may want to look that up specifically.

Thanks; hadn't thought about the holes being a potential area for fitment issues. Good point! To my earlier message, being local won't get me around shipping from Tischer, which makes sense since they likely are having the part shipped from Europe or somewhere else.

Euro comes with or without washer nozzles, you need to order correct one. Reflectors are the only difference vs US OEM. I got my Euro from iND, great service as always.

So this one from ECS is a legit oem euro bumper for $749 + $350 shipped? I've asked this on another thread and no one can confirm if it's oem legit.

I tried contacting Aeuroplug 3 different ways through Instagram, their website, and their phone number and have not heard anything back. I wanted to get the replica through Aeuroplug since they are local to me and I heard they can get it painted already.

Edit: just checked my Instagram and they responded… must've been on vacation for the recent holiday lol

Something tells me the ecs version is not OEM. For $750 I doubt it.

I have no idea about ECS, been putting this on hold so I didn't bother to check with them further, on website they do claim it's Genuine European BMW with OEM PN, they sell E46 M3 Euro front bumper for about the same price and some reviews say it is OEM.

iND got great service but they do charge a premium for some of the product.

Some of the European parts website sell the OEM bumper for about 650 Euro, that's including 19% VAT, so for export without VAT it would be about 550 Euro which is 580USD at the current rate, and that's retail not wholesale. Not saying ECS is definitely OEM but the price is believable IMO.

Did you decide to go with Aeuroplug?

If you are worried about fitment issues on Genuine OEM BMW vs. aftermarket: Don't. Every person I have asked has had no issues with fitment. At least, no more than the Genuine BMW ones (which are not perfect, apparently)

Did you happen to get one? If so, was wondering your experience with price etc and from which vendor?

I did not order from ECS (their current price is about $1100 taxed/shipped to Texas), but did just order from another vendor this week.

Seems like the part is on backorder now so gonna wait and see if they will be able to process the order and everything, will report back when I have some real updates.

Not sure how IND sources it but they truly do have "in stock". I wanted OEM and didn't want to wait - had to pay the full price + pandemic shipping and unpainted The same money a couple of years earlier would have included paint.

Hope the other vendor comes through for you!

Just fill the side markers on your OEM bumper, or buy a used OEM non euro bumper, and in the end you will have a Euro bumper.

Purchased mine from aeuroplug last month and got it painted/installed a few days ago. Fitment is spot on and shipping only took a week or so since it was being delivered by a third-party courier.

My OEM bumper has some cracks around headlight area hence wanting to replace it with Euro...otherwise I probably wouldn't bother

If the current vendor doesn't work out I will probably go with Aeuroplug, heard great things about them

Definitely the cheaper option compared to other vendors. Good luck!

OEM is discontinued here in Toronto, not sure where else you can find an OEM one but if you can, better get it asap!
