19" Forged Double Spoke Wheels POWDERCOATED Black / Red

Hey everyone.. I just picked up my 2009 M3 last month with the upgraded 19" double spoke wheels from BMW. Since I paid extra for the wheels, I thought I might just keep them on instead of buying new ones! I decided to powdercoat them gloss black with a red ring. They also painted the brake calipers red and added an ///M logo to the front caliper. The guys over at California Wheels in San Jose, CA did a great job! Thanks Tommy and Macario from Cali Wheels! Let me know what you guys think!

I think it looks horrible.

Time-attacks, red roundels, and painted calipers belong on some high school or college kid's civic in Hawaiian Gardens.

Also, I know I'm dating myself here, but the scheme brings about memories of this car...

The thread title kinda scared me to be honest....but your car looks pretty good. Nice way of personalizing your car! (center caps might be a little too much for me, but as long as you like it, thats all that matters!)

mhmm..there's something that's making it look off...I think it's the clear section of your tail lights and the side gil light...if you can black out that..and lower your car..I think it's gonna be a lot sportier

I like it but think it would look even better if the time attack strip was a little thinner.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

my thoughts exactly... and definitely a drop. flat or textured black would have probably been better imo, not to mention easier to maintain.

Nice rims but the caps spoil it IMHO. Important thing is that you like it.

A drop is a must for the look you are going for. Thinner stripe on the wheels and going back to the original center caps will go a long way. I get the look you are going for but you gotta keep this car car looking tasteful/classy. I think the red caps are too much, kinda like a huge rear wing.

Also, black out your side and center grills if you haven't already.

I haven't seen time attack rings on the OEM 19"s yet. Looks unique.
