E92 M3 VT1-550: 101mm
E92 M3 VT2-595: 99mm
E92 M3 VT2-625: 96.5mm
E92 M3 VT2-650: 98mm (custom 7-rib), with larger crank pulley.

The 650 uses a larger crank pulley to retain as much belt wrap as possible, eliminating slipping.

Your website now shows a 7-rib pulley option for the 625 kit. Does it use the same larger crank pulley as the 650 kit and does that affect the supercharger pulley size listed above?

Curious; what kind of maintenance should be kept in mind when running the VT1 kit? ..... After how many miles should the belt be changed, pulleys or anything else...etc?

Thanks!

Pretty simple really.

We recommend inspecting belts every 30K (replace at 60K), change S/C fluid at every oil change, spark plugs every 10K. Everything else is business as usual.

Possibly later down the road, not likely by SEMA.

The GTS water pump could help with cooling down the engine a bit. ive also heard there are some thermostat pieces that can be bought that will also help cool things off.

This is my first time hearing anything about new superchargers. Can you share anything else on this?

AFAIK, the only difference between the GTS water pump and stock is that GTS uses an aluminum impeller instead of plastic. How would this help cool the engine down any more than stock?

Agree on that new SC, ready to purchase one but if they have a new improved/more efficient cooling etc one coming may be worth waiting for.

Just wanted to say thanks to Kevin. He answered all my questions and concerns. I just placed an order for a kit today. I decided to go with a VT2 intercooled.

New Owner ESS 650 kit

Rookie to the site. Just purchased Space Grey E90 M3 with ESS 650 kit from a great guy (likely on this forum) in upstate NY who really cared for the car. Fabulous machine and extraordinary performance. Currently has 123K with 20K on supercharger and running very strong. Very pleased with the performance and drivability of this car. Am in Atlanta if you would like to connect as I want to learn more about caring for and enjoying this beautiful beast.
