► Verdict On Engine Oil Weight
i didn't get a chance to blackstone my first oil change but on my second it says the viscosity was a little thin for a 10w-60 from possibly a lighter oil used from factory.
so what is the final verdict on engine oil weight? all threads start talking about it then goes . also for 13 with 702/703 bearings, one should be looking for tin and aluminum on reports not lead?

No verdict needed, as long as the bottle says BMW LL-01, you are good to go.
M1 0W40 will be my only choice for my M3, until someone else comes up with a better oil. |

Im using Castro Edge 5w40 (LL01). I prefer the Edge 0w30 euro formula or Mobil 0w40 over it though (both also LL01)...
